We're 50 miles away from the beach - St. Augustine or Flagler, and St. Augustine is fun to visit.

There's Gainesville, about 40 miles away, and basketball games at the University of Florida campus.

On the way to Gainesville, there is a butterfly aviary. I haven't been there yet, but plan to take our grandson.

The town closest to us, Palatka, has the St. Johns River running through it, and there are a number of good restaurants.

Silver Springs is about an hour's drive, and the glass bottom boats allow you to see through the very clear water some very interesting views.

But there's really no place like home.
