Cucumber Champagne Recipe

Champagne Cocktail Recipe List

Champagne

Cucumber has a fresh, crisp, delightful flavor that goes well with many cocktail recipes. It is an amazing mixer because it works equally well in sweet and dry concoctions!

Cucumber Champagne Cocktail

1 shot Cucumber liqueur
Prosecco or Champagne

Put the shot of Cucumber liqueur into a Champagne flute, and then fill to the top with your sparkling wine. This can work well with the dryest of French Champagnes - and it also goes quite nicely, as shown, with a sweeter Italian Prosecco.

Did you know that cucumbers originally came from India? I think of them as native New England plants because they grow here so easily! I imagine that's part of their appeal, they are so easy to grow. Plus they make delightful pickles :) The Romans adored cucumbers, as did the medieval English. They felt cucumbers helped not only with fertility but also with helping eyesight.

Enjoy your fresh cucumber flavors with this cocktail, and if you have any real cucumber around, you can add on a slice to the rim of your glass as a garnish!
