Thanskgiving Sangria Recipe

Thanksgiving is a time of year to celebrate our blessings and to commemorate the values of the past. Applejack was a traditional colonial drink made from apples. Add into that a cherry liqueur and you're all set! There are peaches, too, for sweetness.

Ingredients

1 shot applejack
1 shot cherry liqueur
peaches
1 glass white wine

Thanksgiving sangria recipe

Add the applejack and cherry liqueur into a glass. Now mix in peach slices. If you chop them up into bite sized pieces, then you can slide them into your mouth as you drink. Fill with white wine. Enjoy!

If you keep frozen peaches in your freezer, while you can't cut them into smaller pieces easily, they can serve as natural ice cubes, which is always a treat in warmer months.

To make this into a party drink, just multiply each measurement by four. The white wine becomes a full 750ml bottle of wine.

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
