Lychees are sweet fruits that hail from China. They have a delicious sweetness much like a grape! Peaches also originally came from China and are now found all over the world. Grapes are a world wide phenomenon, being enjoyed by just about every ancient culture that existed.
1 slice peach
6 grapes
1oz lychee liqueur
1 glass white wine
Cut the peach slice into small pieces so that each piece is easily sippable. Cut each grape into halves. Put both into a wine glass. Add in the lychee liqueur. Fill the glass with a cold white wine. Chardonnay works well, but any white wine will do.
I'm not sure if you can see it in this photo, but the peaches will float to the top while the grapes will sink to the bottom. It means you can nibble at the peaches as you drink, but you'll have to wait until the wine level drops to easily get to the grapes. By then they will be nice and soaked :)
To turn this into a party sangria recipe, there are usually four large glasses of wine in a 750ml bottle of wine. Simply multiply all ingredients by four and use a full bottle of wine in a large pitcher or bowl.

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
