Frozen Orange Apple Sangria Recipe

This recipe is great because you can keep your freezer stocked with the concentrates and always be ready for delicious sangria! Adding the frozen concentrates right before you serve this sangria gives it a wonderful, thick texture.

2 750ml bottles Rioja (or other red wine)
1/4 cup brandy
2 oranges, sliced
1/4 cup cherries
1/4 cup red grapes

1 2-liter bottle ginger ale
6oz can frozen OJ concentrate
6oz can frozen apple juice concentrate
shaved ice to thicken

Prepare a large bowl or pitcher. Mix the red wine, brandy, oranges, cherries and red grapes together. Let it sit overnight in the fridge to soak.

The next day, mix in the ginger ale, frozen OJ, and frozen apple juice. Stir well. If desired, add in some extra shaved ice to add thickness to the mixture.

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
