Getting to New York City

I tend to be late getting places, because usually I am not awake in time :) I am a late riser. I ran late getting to pick up my dad, and we were racing to get to the New Haven Amtrack station in time. Very luckily the train was late as well, because I had to park in the third backup lot. They had a very full schedule that day! I ran the entire way from the lot and we got onto the train without a problem.

Here is us arriving at Penn Station in New York City.

After walking through a fairly substantial train station you come up at Madison Square Garden. I always think of the Highlander movie when I see this :) There's a taxi stand right there, so you simply get into line and wait your turn.

The taxi passed some lovely parks and even had an active GPS in it to show you exactly where you were going. It was maybe a 10 minute ride to get down to L'Ecole.
