So PDM your friend's bird is better?
I never knew about PDD. I read all about it! Just Terrible!
It must be such a problem and heart-breaking ( to the owner)
and not digesting the seed(s) food properly.
I never knew there could be so many different health problems
and defeciency ( eating problems) and the little birdies
can suffer alot.
I am thankful I have a healthy bird so far.
I use vitamin supplements for myself, so I know how important
they are for our pets too and a balanced diet and using food
as enrichment, nutrients and the right amounts and I have learned
so much from this Forum and still common sense most of the time.
I hope your friend's bird will get better & better. That PDD
is just terrible and I have read about organic baby food ect.
and wondered about it. how interesting. And the aloe Vera juice
is very good. I use to use it many years ago. good for many things.
I might suggest to your friend RE: a water soluble vitamin
( free of sugar or glucase) That interests me because sugar
based ( water Vitamins) can cause birds to have bowel and
crop infections because sugar in water ferments and causes
problems. alot of people do not use water soluble vitamins
but I like them. Alot of people use the Nekton B complex?
I don't know if it has sugar in it but I think it is a good
vitamin and I'm interested in it too. So many good things
for our birdies. anyway sorry for PDD. You take care too.
