whistle So PDM your friend's bird is better?
I never knew about PDD. I read all about it! Just Terrible!
It must be such a problem and heart-breaking ( to the owner)
and not digesting the seed(s) food properly.

I never knew there could be so many different health problems
and defeciency ( eating problems) and the little birdies
can suffer alot. frown I am thankful I have a healthy bird so far.

I use vitamin supplements for myself, so I know how important
they are for our pets too and a balanced diet and using food
as enrichment, nutrients and the right amounts and I have learned
so much from this Forum and still common sense most of the time.

I hope your friend's bird will get better & better. That PDD
is just terrible and I have read about organic baby food ect.
and wondered about it. how interesting. And the aloe Vera juice
is very good. I use to use it many years ago. good for many things.

I might suggest to your friend RE: a water soluble vitamin
( free of sugar or glucase) That interests me because sugar
based ( water Vitamins) can cause birds to have bowel and
crop infections because sugar in water ferments and causes
problems. alot of people do not use water soluble vitamins
but I like them. Alot of people use the Nekton B complex?
I don't know if it has sugar in it but I think it is a good
vitamin and I'm interested in it too. So many good things
for our birdies. anyway sorry for PDD. You take care too.
Seems you do alot on the forum and keeping up with everything.
Busy Busy Busy place so glad we have a nice place to come to.

Hi PDM, it's me again. LOL
I don't remember mentioning Herb Salad. Do you have any idea if your friend is familiar with it? If not, it might warrant looking in to. It really is an awesome product, and I think you friends bird might benefit from it. All our bird can benefit from it for that matter.
Here is a link telling what it is all about..it even lists ingredients and what their benefits are. http://twinbeaksaviary.com/herbsalad.html

And illusive...Good call on the baby food!!! Kudos!! wink
