There is a new Brita filter you add onto your faucet that you can also add flavor capsules into it. So they get fresh filtered water AND they can add shots of flavor.

I drink purified spring water.
I think it depends on what kind you buy, Maty.

Depending on her body size, there is an acceptable amount of water she is supposed to consume daily for health. If you give her fluids with her meals and deduct that from her daily acceptable intake the amount remaining is all that you have to get her to drink extra. If you deduct some for a juice drink as a snack then you are left with even less.
Kids love straws and will sip a lot more liquid if given one.
Flavoring her water is also good, but simply getting her a special drink bottle with a straw and letting her know that she has a certain amount to drink during the day helps keep track of how she is doing.
You could give her an incentive such as stars on a chart for a special treat. Maybe some outing to a pizza parlour she likes once a week. After a while the drinking will become a habit that is hard to break.

Thank you all so much for the helpful ideas!
My daughter likes lemon water and orange slices sound good too. If I give her a straw, she'll bite it sometimes instead of drinking it ....... I have no clue why she likes to do that...but she does it.
Jasper's Mom, I'll take her to our grocery store to let her pick out the waters.
Mostly when I take my daughter to Wegmans, Giants, Target, Walmart and all of those grocery stores, I tell her to pick out what she would like. She really doesn't pick out water or something she wants. But she doesn't pick out candy.
So it's hard for me to tell her, "Honey, would you like to go and pick out some waters?". She sometimes ignores me. I don't know what it is. Tiredness? She never goes to sleep at 8 p.m. anymore. Laziness? She never gets up to make her bed or watch a little TV. It's always the computer in the morning.
But I'll try your ideas! Thanks for sharing ~Mattie~

One of my friends gives their daughter (she's 6) the flavored no-sodium seltzer in orange and cherry flavors. They have no calories or added sugar or sweeteners. Sometimes they'll add some pineapple or orange juice to make a cooler, and she likes that, too.
It's working for them.
Good luck!

reward her everytime she does drink it. she could make a chart and everytime she drinks water she just marks it down. for example..... if you drink water for 30 times you can get a goldfish or something about that

I know there is a store called Claire's or Icing same company, in the states, and they sell a kids water cooler, it's so funky, it's a tiny water cooler with coloured design and those paper little cups, putting one in her room or rooms where she hangs out may encourage her to drink cos' it makes it fun.

I saw those in Claire's. They are really neat. I'll try my best and purchase her that. Thanks, Coco

Did she seem interested in it? I would make a deal, get her to drink a glass a water a day for however long you see fit to earn it, payment by water?
I'm not a parent so I don't no if that is a big nono to ask your kid to earn a present that way? If she has a birthday coming up or for Xmas maybe, if she drinks water even if it diluted with juice for colour, by the time she gets the cooler she may be more apt to use it, even if it has plain water.
Just tossing out ideas.
