What do you think of 'reality TV'?
Is it popular in your country?
Talent shows have been going for some time and produced some popular entertainers, but what about programes like 'I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here' or '(Celebrity) Big Brother'?

talent shows, reality tv, home_house_garden_lifestyle_makeover challenge, big brother, soap operas... what can you do? you can't kill them all....save yourselves! we're overrun with vacuous puerile mass produced excretia on the tv and there's no place left to run!!!

forget the TV fullstop. Get back to reading to the kids, making tree houses, gardening....... tv is rotting the body, the soul, and the mind.
However, I am partial to LOST. And of course sport on telly, and then theres Charmed, and wildlife docus, and ...... oh to hell with it, give me the packet of crisps, the remote and leave me alone

I do not watch alot of television--mostly the educational stuff--History Channel, Nat Geographic channel etc--not much on sit coms--reality shows--or most of the dramas--although I confess to liking Bones and House and the original CSI. Haven't gotten into any of the "reality" shows-I have my doubts about how "real" several of them are! They do however seem to be remarkably popular here in the US--I have siblings who NEVER miss--Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, Amazing Race, American Idol.
