This thread is for discussing the movie, so I have quoted anjelik513's comment and your response on a more relevant thread:

In the movie adaptation, Sophie scrapes her shin on an effigy and wipes off the blood in a bus. What happened to this "valuable" blood? I feel the clean-up scene was very deliberate and alluding to a possible sequel.

I finally saw the movie. Well, we bought it without seeing it first. We kept trying to rent it but it was never available. I haven't read the book, but my roommate read Angels and Demons, and it sounded like it, well, sucked. So I'm not looking forward to reading the Da Vinci Code book, unless it actually is better than Angels and Demons.

Anyway, I loved the movie! It was a million times better than I thought it would be, and the information on various things surprised me because from some of the stuff I knew about, it was all true. I love seeing accurate information in movies, especially "fictional" movies.

I had never thought of the grail as being a womb before, so that was one of the few new ideas brought to my attention.

I didn't like that whole "Zomg, you're a decedent of Jesus, you rulez LOL!1" attitude. Jesus was just some unfortunate dude (in my opinion). And I don't care if he was special or not, that doesn't make HER special. It would be a mind blowing revelation though, if I found out I was related to some cool dead hippy guy.

I honestly was expecting a "Oh lets make bAAYbeeez to continue the line!" at which point I was prepared to toss the movie out the door (literally), but it didn't go that direction and it made me happy.

Sorry for a less-than-intelligent sounding post. I've been sick/stressed lately and won't go out of my way to sound educated today smile

Which "accurate information" do you mean?
