Hey guys!
i know i don't come on much, but i still wanted ot share about my excitment. I now have a baby green cheek conure! Oh golly she's cute. i would post pics but i dont have photobucket...
anyway; i dont wnat to get started on all the cute things she does.
I've only had her three days; and never owning a conure before (but 4 budgies) i wondered at some of her behavior. She seems facinated wiht my windows. when i take her out of the cage she will let me play a little bit, and then will clamber over to attack them. i covered up the first one, so she flew ot the other. then i put her in her cage and she went crazy climing all over the place trying to get to them. so i covered them. i've been trying to uncover them bit by bit; but if i take the blankets off completly my bird goes nuts. i'm thinking she's seeing her 'frined' int he window; but she doesnt act like she's goign after naother bird. she acts like she's ttrying to get outside. so wharts up? and most importantly, what should i do?
I know some of you guys have conures on here...and i was just wondeirng if this is some sort of crazy conure behavior i happen to not know about. anyone? confused

I can never cry enough,
Hurt enough,
Bleed enough,
To deserve the price you paid for me.

Awwwh. I've always wanted a sun conure, but they're a bit too expensive for me. That's why I've stuck with keets, and I'm glad I did! ^___^
Anywho, good luck with the baby!
+ Post pics soon!

Congratulations... beautiful and smart birds.. I am sure you will enjoy him/her...

This does belog in off topic... but as you said many people post here so I do not think it is a big enough deal for others to tell you what to do... Afterall your no forcing anybody to read or reply to your post... It is just an FYI for the future...

Seriously though congradultations... your concure sounds just GREAT!
