I luv uno!!! Everone make mistakes; you're not the only one. When the milk is spilled, its spilled. There's nothing you can do about it. (just remember to put the shirt immediatly in the washer :))

Climbtreez, could you post materials and directions for making the coconut house? I've wanted to make one for Skittles, and remember seeing a while ago directions on how to make those (and other toys).

I make most of my toys out of hemp string and beads which I get at Walmart in the arts and craft section. Here's a site on making home-made toys for your bird(s): http://www.birdsnways.com/birds/ideas.htm Good luck!

Thanks! Will have to make Skittle some toys like that. <quote>I string vegies and hang them in the cage they love this. </quote> I've been wanting to do that, and had meant to ask on here what the best way to make a kind of birdie "schiskabob" (I have no idea how to spell that :p ) for him. Thanks for the ideas!

You can also string noodles I got some whole wheat noodles long ones like a tube worked real neat for putting on a piece of hemp I also picked up some vegie noodles different shapes that I could string the birds like chewing on this stuff also so its a toy and food for them. The stringing vegies is a really good idea. I have strung pieces of cucumber, sweet potatoe, carrot I hang parsley this stuff is not that expensive and its good for them. If you go to the store you don't have to buy a bunch of any one thing so it should not be to expensive and the noodles are not that bad in price you get a big package that will last for quite awhile. You should pick up some hemp cord they have at Wal-mart in the craft dept get the natural not dyed stuff. I ball is about $5 but it lasts a long time. Also get a big sewing needle with a big eye this you will find in the sewing dept the needle will be a fat needle not a skinny needle it should have a big hole (eye) in the top this works real good for stringing the vegies you just sew it right thru the middle of the vegies. I put a pony bead on the end of the cord I tie it on and then thread my vegies then the vegies don't slip off the cord.

Fuzzuzzle: I made my birds a preening toy out of cotton dog chew-toy rope and a bottle cap. you can get the dog-rope at the dollar store. cut it into 6inch long pieces, tie a string around the middle, and thread it through the top of the bottle-cap. (after poking a hole, of course.) very simple. my birds love it.
another toy is you take some hemp rope, tie a pny bead at the end, thread some cut-up paper towl rolls/beads on. my birds love that too.
one last toy! cut a chunk of wood (with bark) off a safe tree; wash it wiht hot water and let dry, then braid some hemp and tack it too the top.
if any of this is too confusing i can elaborate; and if your wondering how to hang the toys just use those clips sometimes used for key-chains, you can buy them at any craft store or a Wal-Mart.
hope i helped!
