heyy guys i was wondering how to get my bird to get used to having a bath

alot of people have done this so i think they just took time with it every day...a good person to ask on this is super-keets whose four birds all love to bathe. I just recently got a storebought birdbath to hang on the side of the cage i hope it doesn't fall apart though, am worried about the one side where the cover joins to the bowl...it's holding together it just looks a little lose to me...

I have a mini tub that Kiwi goes into sometimes. Usually I just let him take a shower with me. I think he likes that better because it's almost like he's out in the rain. I never got Storm used to having a bath because I didn't know how.

how bout naming the third one Tempest? or maybe Squall?

get a bowl and put some water in it and place the bird in it. if it won't bathe in that, spray water ABOVE IT (not at it) and it should bathe in the mist.

I brought kiwi into the bathroom the other day and while I was filling his water dish he jumped in it and took a quick dip.

THANX EVERY ONE I WILL TAKE STEWIE OUT TODAY SO I CAN TRIE 2 GIVE HIM A BATH

Skeeter takes showers with me but he usually just sits up on the top of the shower doors and fluffs up in the steam. Whenever he gets water on him it usually gets in his nose and he'll sneeze. He LOVES the hairdryer! But he won't bathes in tubs yet, I don't work with him enough with it

Kiwi only ever used his tub because he'd fall in it trying to get a drink. lol. He likes sitting on the shower curtain rod thingy but I usually make him get wet so he can't fly around.
