I've been working on variations of the left cover for my new Cinderella series. Yesterday evening I happened to see that someone else had used the exact same stock image for their Cinderella book. Part of what's funny is that I'd hated the "toilet paper stuck on the dress" look of the stock image and had been trying all sorts of things to hide that part of the dress. I guess not everyone had that same negative reaction to the train . Ah well, the hurdles in the life of an author - time to start again! What are you guys working on today?

I'm getting close to releasing book 1 in my new fairy tale series. The heroines are more independent than the Disney versions. Book 1 is Cinderella who, with her prince, then intersect with Snow White in book 2 in an entwined plot. If you'd like to take a look and offer feedback, just let me know if you prefer EPUB, MOBI, or PDF. They're about 12,000 words long. A novelette .

Sheer insanity; I have to now speed-load my Cinderella series, that I've been working on for over a year, as another "Lisa Shea" has started publishing her own! So much for my launch plan for these . I know a number of my fans have already gotten confused and thought HER books were MY books. To clarify - THIS is what my new Cinderella series looks like. Books 1 and 2 should be live shortly and book 3 should be live by later tonight.

The "odd" on this Cinderella situation gets odder. Yesterday I loaded up Cinderella (book 1) and then 7 hrs later Snow White (book 2). Somehow Amazon hasn't even touched Cinderella yet - but they've put Snow White live. Strange.

Finally! Amazon published book 1 in my Cinderella Fairy Tale series. I'd love your thoughts on it! Book 2, on Snow White, was already live. Book 3, on Beauty, should be going live today. My release schedule has been greatly ramped up . And yes, I know I spelled "commemorate" wrong in the description. It's been part of why I've been checking the listing hourly to get access to it, to edit it. So far I don't have that edit button yet since it's still in the initial load period. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y5X6LHG/What are you guys working on today?

I was just about to publish book 3 in my Cinderella series, called "Beauty", when I received in the mail a review copy of a book all about the variations around the world of animal brides and grooms. It seemed like fate. I'm going to read this to learn even more about the historical basis of the classic fairy tale and then do one final polishing round on my "Beauty". My aim is to publish it tomorrow. Have a good night, everyone! https://www.amazon.com/Beauty-Beast-Classic-Animal-Brides-ebook/dp/B01HCGYXHK/
