Hi Everyone!

Blossom is really biting her rope perches and I don't know why. She has a variety of all perches and platforms. She has the oyster shell perches to groom her beak and nails( placed at an angle). I make sure to check the rope perches daily and look for any loose threads, but, there aren't any. She just likes to nibble at them. My question is: Is this dangerous for her? It isn't a constant behavior, just something new for Blossie! I know the correlation with shredding and coming into breeding mode, but I really don't think this is the case.

She is also being nosy and flying to me to nibble my earrings and preen my hair. This is a new one, as we just moved and I think she is getting really comfy in her new environment. It's so cute to have her as a little velcro bird...I love it!

Thanks for the feedback.

PB
