Found this website when looking for cage cleaners and they have some dehydrated veggies available for anyone who doesn't buy them all the time and want to feed more veggies.

They have others too.

what i found in that site was things with fruits and nuts which most...keets dont eat and so it would be a waste of money...and not specifically related to this site but when i have got dehydrated veggies the chuncks were large and even soaking never really became what cappy or i would consider eatable for a keet anyway...but...he is picky about his veggies and how he likes them...lil brat...

Both my guys like dehydrated carrots and red bell peppers. I get them at myspicesage.com.
I do have to chop them a little smaller sometimes tho.
I like the fact that they will eat the dehydrated i can mix right in with their seed mix and not have to worry so much if I don't have time to do up fresh ones for them.
Powders are good too smile

Cappy and Bob must be related. Bob has no use for carrots either. When Tom was here he ate some orange foods but now that Tom is gone, Bob eats nothing orange.

If I put orange stuff in his cage, he pushes pieces through the bars and gives them to the dog!

LAUGHING MY BUTT OFF ...is the dogs name Mikey by any chance????

"give it to Mikey, he'll aint anything"....

i know its not....but thats too much he wont only NOT eat the stuff, he wants it outta his realm...totally!

and crazy uh huh...doesnt like orange things either like really good sweet potato....never tried pumpkin tho as i never get any.

ya know what tess...as im thinking here his favorite toys are the ones colored like his favorite veggies...color order of preference goes...green, yellow, blue , then red.. Heck he isnt, now that i think of it, even all that nuts about one of his new birthday presents thats organge...

hmmmmmmm if i only had orange clothes to wear when i want some peace and quiet ...i think we have stumbled onto something. blush

if he only had some of Bobs personality...Cappy is rather boring...oh he plays and all but never seems to get quite as adventerous as Bob. wink

aww c'mon now. Cappy is NOT boring. Hey the kid can carry on his own conversation on the phone..I've heard him! lol And the way he wants to get his own stuff from the fridge, tries to run the remote for the tv...has love affairs with certain toys hehehe
Boring? I think not.

Now Bob, that bird just ain't right.Any bird that tries to place an order at a drive thru whilst on family vacation.. feels the need to do his own arranging of things in his cage..folds laundry, let's face it, Bob thinks he's human! lol Not to mention Bob also carries on quite the conversations and answers questions. Dicks n airplanes Bob???? Really? roflmao

we will NOT discuss his slightly over amourous attention to certain toys ...crazy...its not that bad as he still does not really regurge either...but i do worry about his butt getting carpet burn and why he still has any feathers left there.

yessssss he is a talker and yessssssss your not the only one who has heard him while im on the phone and thought it was a bad connection where they could hear another conversation going on with someone else...:(...good thing there are no secrets or geeeeeesh everyone would know...blabber mouth!

and yes when he is out and im trying to do something he wants to play carpenter too with me...an knows EXACTLY where HIS food is in the fridge and has ventured that far and still rides the refridgerator door just to get off in the nick of time as it closes...open the fridge and its like a cat hearing the can opener...gawd...i think i should train him on how to put away the groceries when im done shopping i bet he could.

the remote i have no clue what that is about all the time ..same when i put my glasses down and leave them i have to search and watch very carefully where i step...

but..your right BOB isnt rightttttt giggle...but he sure makes for funny stories....

and what about yours with the fetish of playing hide and go seek with one of them where a full out grid search needs to be done. grin

Are you guys saying my Bob has a screw loose? Who is to say what is normal...... after all he was raised by me so he must be normal right? lol

He is just a little ...ah...different, that's it! Now that he has gotten older he doesn't act as goofy anymore and to tell ya truth I miss it. He still has his sense of humor though so that makes me happy.

I have never met a boring bird, I guess if you watch them long enough they will make ya smile. Just do not ask Bob "Whats up?" I cringe when he answers, dang men and their obsession with their crotch!!!!

i am sooooooo not touching that "normal" comment you made...different ooooooook....i'll give ya that one for sure.

and yes Cappy was errrrrrrrm "different" too when he was younger, and not so much now. Still remember me dubbing him a "pinhead" and those adventures the moment he got home and into his new cage. But never has he been...well almost never, has he been like some of the stories i hear in this forum like some of the other errrrrrrrr "different" birds.

and he still needs some training about "buzzing" the top of my head when i try to go anywhere from him, leaving skid marks up there as he does it to try to make me stop....he has actually wing clipped me too in the face a few times with his "buzzing" act. Obviously im not to go anywhere without his permission first...and the times i do manage to sneak out of his dominion, where he cant see me and knows he isnt suppose to go, wellllll then there is just such a raucaus its not funny till i tell him "yessssss Cappy im right here and will be right back", as he continues to scold me from a distance...

i guess its "the l@@k" i get as he hangs from my glasses or a few strands of hair down the front of my face when im tryinggggg to ignore him to the point i cant see anything BUT him as he tries to demand my attention, ...and gets it at that point, ...that amuses me but, also can annoy me...and thats where he learned the phrase "gimme a break"...then laughs to add insult to injury.

however, that being said, my favorite story Tess is still the one where you found Bob doing laundry inspection under all the clothes and making sure they smelled laundry fresh...and you just called him "goofy"..thought id point that out. blush
