Lisa Shea Forums Parakeets General Parakeet Chat Anyone know of good toys for the birdies?

It's been about three years I've had my budgies, and I haven't been able to find any new toys for them within the past year. No luck with Petco or Petsmart, they all have the sandpaper which I read wasn't good for their feet, and other regular play toys look like they'd shred too easily and I don't want Missy or Dixie potentially chewing on the strings or swallowing them, ect. They don't like the balls they can nudge at, and the toys that tend to hang up at the top of their cage still scare them which I don't know is normal or not..

Anybody know of any other places besides Petco or Petsmart? Thanks!

pet stores seem to be limited and never seem to update i shop EBAY ...good luck and have fun just enter into the search...small bird toys ...of course by doing that you get all kinds not necessarily just for keets and many pages to sort thru but the above link...gives you some ideas...

try also instead of having toys ...dangle to place them against the bars as keets love to bang on things or toss things that make noise.
