Ok, so I need to cover the cage, but I've been leaving the light on so the babies don't get scared. do I leave part of the cover open so the light can get in? Like the top? or side?
what's the best way to make it so they have light, but are also covered enough so they can get some rest?

i have always fully covered and not left any area open...only time ive done that is in the case of nite fright ...then ill leave it open a bit till cappy settles down and goes back on his swing where he sleeps ..then its fully closed again.
