Well, I looked on Ebay and found some really nice cages. I think i will order one like Illusives. it is just about the size i need and at a price I can afford. 119$. brand new.
Btw cetan, your bird has a very beautiful and unique face, what kind of parakeet is it?

what i like about the cage in the link is the "no drawer" thing. i have a cage for isolation purposes like if a bird is sick or needs to be isolated for whatever reason. i dont like it very much but thats what ive got now. its rather tall and big enough to fit two at the most but it has that drawer that gets all the litter on the table, which is annoying. it also only has one door and no external access to food and water cups like the hagen vision. if i had to house a bird indoors long term i would get it, but since the cage i have is only for temporary housing i dont think im going to order the hagen vision laugh plus shipping would be quite costly to where i live.

The picture is my Sweetgirl who passed away last January. She was a pied female but loved her colored mineral blocks and this picture was taken after she had been chewing on one and rubbing her face on it!

aww. i am so sorry for your loss. my baby Cloud passed away recently too. i thought it was a male, turned out she was a girl. lol. I miss her, she was the social one. I have Cheekers now and he is great. He loves to come out and play and fly around the living room, and when he gets nervous,he goes right back to his cage. the one i have is ok, but not much room for him and storm to move around in, i need something a little bigger. i saw the one on ebay for 77$, think i'll get that one.http://cgi.ebay.com/Hagen-83255-Vision-Bird-Cage-Model-M02-25-x16-x34-NEW-/130470285660?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e60a2915c
