my new parakeet fell from a high perch in the aviary and now she cant move her knees. she can move her upper legs and toes but can seem to move her knees. she tries to get up every once in a while. PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hello--You need to get your bird to a vet immediately! Try to catch her in a soft cloth--like a wash cloth--and put her in a travel cage. And get her to the vet immediately--preferably an avian vet.

I agree with Anon. Get your bird to an Avian vet immediately!!! They will hopefully be able to fix her legs if seen to fast enough.
Birds are on their feet constantly, it is sooo important to get her treated ASAP.
I'm assuming she is clipped and that is why she had a hard landing? grrrr!
