Lisa Shea Forums Parakeets Off-Topic for Parakeet Owners About Me - I guess

Hey everyone! I decided to join the parakeet forums because my friend(k.a. Luna-Rose) has parakeets. She's my close friend and she invited me over today to meet them. We ended up training Perch (she's the only we CAN train, the other are stubborn and fly away from us when we try) without even looking at any instructions. It was so fun! She showed me this forum, and I wanted to learn more about parakeets and how to take care of them. We're keeping a journal from now on, and we'll post on how Perche's training goes. Thanks a lot!

Spend too much time around Luna Rose's keeters and you are BOUND to catch the budgie fever! It's highly contagious as the lil things are just so darn cute and smart!!!

Hehe... if it wasn't 4 her, I'd have THREE untrained budgies. Now I only have two. But her mum won't let her have a parakeet, even though in some ways, parakeets are easier than fish. She had a fish. It died. SO not her fault.

Yeah. Sadly to say, my mom will freak out if I come home with another living thing. I can only have fish, and unfortunetly they all died. My last fish got stuck in the aquarium filter!! But my next fish will be well taken care of. I just wish I could have a cute little parakeet! Luna-Rose said they weren't hard to care for, but my mom said never as long as she pays the bills. Oh well, I'll bug Luna-Rose's parakeets instead!
