My son loves them. Not surprising, Im the first generation of Canadian in my family, everyone came over from London (England) many years ago, so there is a strong British influence in my family.

I have no issue with them per se...Except for "In the Night Garden"

Good gosh, has anyone ever seen this jewel?

The creepy factor is OFF THE SCALES.

There was a discussion on the radio the other day ~ BBC ~ about how kids here are mostly watching American programmes. It's interesting to see that in Canada they are watching British stuff.

I'll have to have a look at the 'Night Garden' ~ I think that I saw a bit of it, once.

But, yes, I think we do have some weird programmes over here for kids. 'Teletubbies' was bizarre and 'Play away'!!! Well, the mind boggles. smile

lol, night garden is made by the same people as the tubbies. Same sorta concept as well. It's creepier though.

Alot of the programming for tots here is Canadian and British, not as much American, except maybe, Dora and Diego.

Older kids shows, are mostly American (one of the ones Zack watches is called "i carly" thats american I think)

Ah, yes, we get 'I Carly' here, too ~ amongst many, many others.
We also get a lot of Australian kids' programmes.

Ah yes, the wiggles....Another one to make me shudder, lol.

They are educational, but weird. I watched the muppets, fraggle rock and sesame street when I was a kid lol
