is the top of their cage green or blue? mine is blue, i really like the way the tops come off so they can have out time when they are trained. those unmistakeable baby faces, all the lines and those shiny dark eyes. so sweet!

To answer all the questions.. I got them from PetSmart where it was OBVIOUS they formed a very sweet bond... So if they are actually related I am not sure! As for their age, again b/c I got them from PetSmart it's hard to tell.. But based on what I read & researched I am assumming they are approx 4 months old. Due to the lines & dark eyes, I also am thinking both are boys based on the recent article somebody posted on here just a couple of days ago.

Thank You all for compliments on my new feathered family!! I love them! I literally can sit & watch them for HOURS!!! My husband thinks I am nuts! But I am just enjoying them & getting to know them & their sounds etc..!!

And Baby Blue.. The top of thier cage is Blue... It is a Triple Roof Cage.. Pleanty Big for 2 Budgies!! I call it their condo!! I can post a pic of the enitre cage too!

they are really cute...
I think that cleo is Male, and piper is female.

but lets just wait and see...enjoy then while they are young, since they are rare budgies, they will be hard to tame. they are usually feisty. but have fun, try giving them shredded carrots, and celentro...then watch them eat that's a really cute site...

Mittu... I actually thought if anything Piper was Male & Cleo female.. (If not both males) Because Piper seems to be the dominate & shot caller! & If anything Piper is a bit more comfy with me then Cleo. A BIT!!! WHen I got them from PetSmart the cage did say Rare Parakeets... But I didn't think that really meant anything! You think they friskier than regular keets?

Thank You.. They are cuties! I am hoping for a male & female.. But Hey.. Like any proud parent.. HAPPY & HEALTHY is whats most important!
