You should contact the airline you are thinking of traveling with, each seem to have their own rules and regulations. I have no personal experience, but have read of others flying with their fids.

good luck!

I just called southwest the other day about dogs and it took me like ten minutes to get ahold of someone and for them to tell me all their rules. It was very fast. smile

yes they can but not all airlines accept pet birds, and only on domestic flights. (no international flights)

call the airlines, you will have to buy them a pet ticket which is ussually about $50 and have them in an approved carrier.

I don't know what the airline rules are, you need to check, but IMHO clipping their wings would be the prudent thing to do. What if, and I always play the worse case scenario, the cage/carrier was accidentally opened somehow during your trip? Your fid would fly away, and it maybe impossible to get them back...in an airport, airplane that has landed with door open. Accidents happen in the flash of an eye.

Clipped wings grow back.......
