I think I would like to keep at least two of the babies and my mother has been asking for a bird to keep her company so she may get one of the babies. I know that I am going to feel so attached to the babies and want to keep them all but I am sure hubby will tell me I am crazy. He may actually take one of the babies to his parents house to keep them company. If I kept all the babies...that make my flock equal 9!! But then again, I do have a bunch of cages too so there is room! (and hubby thought I was crazy keeping all the old cages once I upgraded! lol)

Aww what do husbands know?? I don't think you're a bit crazy for wanting to keep them all! LOL And I'm SURE you WILL be attached to them all. How can you not be? Well, at least if your mom takes one and maybe hubby's parents take one, they'll still be in the family and you can check up on them and visit

baby 3 hatched this morning...or at least i think it's baby 3. There is still one more egg to go so we shall see. The first baby is getting soo big. I wish i could handle them but the mom has already bitten me more than once just from looking inside the box...very protective first time mommy!

Mama bird sure doesn't like that dang camera pointed at her babies does she? She is def giving you the don't mess with my babies look Grrrrrr! LOL

She is vicious! I mentioned earlier that she was my favorite-she came to me every chance she got, gave me kisses, ate dinner with me, and now I am lucky if I give her a head scratch when she comes out to stretch! And even then, her lover (Sunny) comes over and he's like "Hey that's my woman! Get AWAY!" Nevermind the fact he's cheating on her with Paulie and I think if he could, he would try to go after my female parakeet! Men and their hormones! lol!

Sorry its been awhile. I started a new job and they have been working me to death...but here are some pics. The last egg did not hatch so we only have three babies (which is great too!) and Mommy and Daddy are still taking wonderful care of them! As you will see the babies look really good---its amazing!!
