They are displacing their feelings by eating. Mine do that if they are nervous. They start eating like mad.
Ugh!! Petco is the devil.

Take a deep breath. I know you are hurting and freaking out right now. But you need to calm down a tiny bit for your other little feathered friends. I am so sorry. I wish I was closer. I would totally run over and help you out any way I could.

Oh hon I was screaming too. But I had to calm down because it was making things worse and I couldnt help him freaking out. It is horrible to watch them do that. Thankfully Edgar has not had a seizure in 5 months!

He may have been injured worse than you suspected. When I stepped on Basil my vet said that if it was internal injuries he would have passed very quickly. Ugh.. You poor girl. Way too much for you to deal with. I would be hysterical too.

This is why you need to be around bird people right now. Bird people understand the situations and dont fault you for being a bit nutters at times. People can be so cruel.

Oh Aminah I feel so bad. I cant believe this. Poor Sparty! I read the post to my husband who is sending his simpathy as well.
It was on the same day as Max? That is so odd. Maybe Max and Sparty can meet up there in the sky.

I know... Some people just don't get it, but how awful to say that to you when you're grieving... frown
