Thanks for all the replies! So we have 3 for a girl and four who say boy...lol, I guess it's too young still. I'm leaning towards boy right now, just a little, because the bird's pretty vocal (I think) - it chirps when I put music on, when we watch MTV and just randomly. At least I have a general age down smile

"Is the cee tinited with white or is it a solid pink? I there any hint of white in the cere?"

I don't think so...this morning it really looks kind of purpleish with the blue on top. I don't see much white really (although I could have sworn it was pinker just a couple of days ago, could be the light).

"but make sure you have all different types of perches in there. Keets love comfy perches (rope ones). "

Right now I actually only have the two perches that came with it, a swing and it seems to like hanging out on its food bowl perch. I'm planning a trip to the petsore today, though (it's kind of far, so requires a plan, lol) - I'm getting more toys (only has the ladder and swing right now), a bathtub and some perches (I'll be sure to look out for rope ones!)

NotEvenAnAnt - They look so similar! That's awesome!

Thanks to everyone so much for your answers and guesses! smile

OH! One last thing - a lot of you said it's molting right now. Does that mean that soon it won't be clipped anymore? It's kind of hard to tell how much it can fly inside of the cage, as even clipped I assume they can flutter a few feet...

How much they can fly when clipped depends on the clipping.

Yes, if your keet is molting, it will grow new flight feathers and if you wish to keep him/her grounded for a bit longer (some always keep them clipped and it is a personal choice) you will need to have them clipped after the molt is done.

If you feel comfortable with it, you can clip them yourself-----

If there's no white then I would definitely say boy. Either way, that's one gorgeous keet you have there smile
