Lily's cere is starting to get like a little light brown in the middle
why is this happenening?

Yup. Most likely, it will soon spread to the rest of the cere and the cere will be completely brown. But sometimes my Jayka will just develop a tiny brown spot in the middle of her cere and it will go away in about a week. It's like she's not sure if she wants to go into breeding mode or not, lol. smile

so what duz that mean then. and like after a certain age duznt their cere sometimes change color

Going into breeding mode is like a dog going into heat. She is just letting any prospective mate (if there isn't one, that is ok) know that she is "ready" to mate.

my birds do that just like 3budgies said turn brown and change back so thats what i think it is
