I can solve the 3x3 regular cube. i told my wife that i cheat by memorizing the solution. i can work the Rubik's cube jr.(it looks easier than it is) and i almost have the 4x4 Rubik's revenge figured out on my own. i dont want to cheat by memorizing the moves. i would like to get a regular 2x2 cube and a square 1 cube (if i can find one that is not so expensive for the Rubik's brand). ebay is kinda high on the good ones

I can successfully solve the 3x3x3 cube in about 2 minutes. I'm working on learning some more advanced methods in the hope of having it down below a minute by the end of the summer.

I can almost solve the 4x4x4 cube. I can do all but the top layer. There are many videos on youtube that will teach you how to actually solve the cube. It still involves a lot of practice though smile

My son used to solve it in high school. I don't think anyone showed him how. I go nuts when I play it. Maybe I will get another one and try though. LOL thanks for the bug!

seafoam are you saying you just scramble the colors or you actually make patterns(i dont have a link but there are places that show how to make different patterns)

I'm impressed, I've never even come close to solving one. I try for a few minutes then get frustrated lol, I don't have the patience for those. frown
