Forgive me if I’m scared when I first get to your house Forgive me if I sit here as quiet as a mouse Forgive me if I run when you try to give me love For rough and rugged hands is all that I know of Give me time and I will start to chirp and be a happy pet But I may not play with my toys, I just don’t get them yet I want to stay inside my cage I know I’m safe somehow And I will still be shy of you, I’m just not ready now Someday I will trust you and know that you do care So please be patient for me, soon I shall get there We will be the best of friends and I will sing for you So just be calm and patient, and I’ll be patient too

Thanks guys. I did it last night when I was up really late. It's obviously just meant to be a for fun thing. Kind of like a kids story or something. I was reading through some old posts and it just kind of came to me. I'm glad you like it.
