I just heard from my dad in Wisconsin that my keet, Conan that has been with me for about 3 months....died this evening. ....i can bearly stand it.....I know that he was about two years old....but why now? I can hardly talk now.....I'm sorry. He was a beautiful bluish keet. I loved him....;(

It was all so sudden....this morning my dad called to say Conan was playing....and having....millet....and then....another call....and he's dead....;(

something must have gone wrong or really scared him cuz if he was playing and all then he wasnt sick thats for sure, is ur dad sure the poor keet is dead? i mean i dont know if ur dead knows about keets or not but i had my friend over 1 time and my keet was sleeping and he goes like dude your keet just died and im like "WHAT??" and i ran to the cage and i saw they were sleeping lol, oh well, RIP poor keet.

Yes.....i suppose he was really old...cause he really was dead...my dad moved him and took him to a vet immediatley and .,...they told my dad the keet died....

Sara- I am so sorry! (((((hugs)))))) to you! Sometimes keets have heart attacks. It is a common thing. That may have happened to your little guy. I am so sorry for your loss. At least he went eating his favorite treat and playing. He was happy.

Sara, I'm very sorry for the loss of Conan! It's never easy dealing with the loss of a pet.

Take care of yourself, and be comforted by the pets you still have.

Oh Sara so sorry about you lil' one. Sometimes birds just go, it may have been a heart attack or something quick like that. They are so tiny and sometimes there is nothing you can do. He was in a real home rather than a pet store, he knew love. Keep that thought with you.
