Sweetgirl (in the avatar) has a new game. There is a hanging bird kabob in the cage. She grabs the top of it and shakes her head back and forth so it swings banging into the sides of the cage, a springy perch that flips up when it get hit because she hits it from underneath (sometimes she bounces up and down on the perch like it is a trampoline) and if he doesnt get out of her way Sweetboy. She alternates between doing this and flipping beads back and forth on an upside down U shaped toy - but she usually does while she is hanging upside down. I really need to get a video camera so I can capture her antics.

I have a bird Kabob but I havent' given it to the Coco Canines Budgis yet, I bought shredders they are too big not such a hit but she will chew them and i think there is still 20 ft left so I want it gone because I am almost certain this kabob will be a hit and the shredders would be shunned.LOL

They were never too interested in the shredders but they had their kabobs first. They do love them, when I put a new one in Greengirl will literally chew half of it up in a day or two. But now I leave them in until they are totally demolished, eventually Greengirl even chews up the hard wood. Last week a piece fell into her bathtub and got a little swollen so it wouldn't fit through the grate. I just put it on the floor of the cage and for several days Greengirl would spend hours throwing it around. And now Sweetgirl has her game. The boys have never shown much interest in them, just on occassional nibble.
