looks good to me, and i would just hang it and leave it there, as it is just the seed that they would normally eat everyday anyway packed with alot of other yummy and healthy things along with it, and by hanging it somewhere, like NOT NEAR A PERCH, your makeing them climb or hang for it which causes them to get excercise and thats always a good thing. ide say go for it.

oh i see, so i need to hang it somewhere high, ok got you, i was gonna put it near them and i have a question, i bought these 3 treats today: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=15069it comes in 1 package of course but its 3 balls, now what i did is i tied 1 ball into like a thin plastic wire and i hanged it exactly near a perch so its right under their nose, is that good? because obviously its a ball and hes suppose to play with it freely but theyll poop on it if i put it on the cage floor, and then again if i hang it high where they need to clib or do something then id say they wont at all because its a ball and even as it is its hard to get the stuff in cuz he needs to get bites at it and stuff so if its hanged high id say its too hard so i just tied it near a perch, thats good? the berry seed will surely be high tho cuz that they can eat easily, yea?

I have multiple perches and hang treats like corn so they can reach it from above or below. The stick like treats I usually put on the side of the cage, they can reach it from a perch or standing on it, the ones my spoiled babies like can be hung or on the other side is a clip like thing that slides between the cage bars and then can get turned 90 degrees so it sticks out perpendicular to the cage sides

okie dokie i jus came back from petland and i purchased the Berry Bars, what i did is, it comes with a little plastic wire that helps to attach the whole bar to the cage bars, so yea i took the bar horizontally and i put it near a perch but high , so he needs to climb a little to eat it or i think he may also be able to get a bite by stretching his body, you know what i mean so yea i just basically hanged it above a perch but not on the TOP of the cage of course, like in the corner between the top and the side, here is a picture of what i did: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b113/wutags/08172007250.jpgu can see the berry bar in the left side of the cage EDIT: i just put my keet back in the cage and i see that they can reach the bar without climbing anything, should i move the bar more up? i mean they do need to stretch a bit to reach the bar

btw as you can see in the picture, i have an extra cup of seeds in the top of the cage near their toy and they like to eat from there more than from the bottom of the cage from the main cup since i placed that new extra cup up there, are they being lazy ? hehe, should i place the cup higher? so they have to climb or jump to be able to eat from that cup? because they even fight for whos gonna eat from that new extra cup in the top of the cage lol but usually 1 gives up and they take turns, what im trying to say is, should i just leave it near their toy so they can easily access that cup or make it higher so they have to work for it? or its just a seed cup so theres no need?

It looks like the treat is set just above the highest horizontal bar. If that's true, then it's already as high up as you can tie it unless you want to put it on the ceiling, which I don't recommend because the birds could get sharp little shell bits falling in their eyes as they pried bits off a bar above their heads.
I also am not sure you can move the extra seed cup higher. You have very few horizontal bars on that side of the cage, so it looks like you would have to place the cup very close to the top of the cage if you moved it up. If you put it on that higher horizantal bar, would the birds have room to stand upright on the edge of the cup? If not, I wouldn't put the cup up there.
By the way, you have a tall cage, and the water is down low, so I don't think you need to worry so much about making your birds do some climbing!

ok cool and yes you are very right, i dont have many horizontal lines where the extra cup is and they will need to squeeze they body to eat from the extra cup if i were to put it in the next high horizontal line there, and they wont be able to stand upright so i guess ill forget about that. and yes the next high part i can put the berry bar in is the celling , anyway i just woke up and i saw chucky eating from the bar, he was extending his body and taking bites and eating of course. EDIT: i just checked on my keets and my female keet has climbed up and is on the bars eating the berry treat
