Okay my tiel Ty is making this very annoying ver hars sound with her beak. It sounds like nails on a chalkboard. It drives me nuts when she does that.....but she only does it at night. Like when she is aboput to go to bed. Does anyone know what she is doing??? and if it's normal???? Thanks,
no, i think shes grinding her beak. my tiel rooper does that to. its to get the seeds that were stuck in there mouth during the day. otherwise its so they can get comfortable.
My cockatiel Peaches does that all the time...mostly whenever she is sitting calmly on her perch about to nap. I don't think anything is wrong with your cockatiel.

Whew......Okay thanks. You know when im sitting on the computer and its lat and she is sitting on her perch she is making that noise which drives me up the wall! Still love her though!
