I took Alida and Cannonball in for their followup check today. So far Cannonball has gained three grams! She's not hunching anymore and is a lot more lively then she has ever been. My vet said she could still stand to gain a bit more but she is much better then she was four weeks ago.
Alida also gained weight, 1.5 grams I belive. She's turinging into a chunky monkey! Whatever had them down is long gone now and they are well on the road to recovery from???
Looking back, I can see the difference now between when they were sick and now when they are healthy. Hopefully I'll be able to recognize problems easier now.

I can try...they were really subtle. As I've found out and been told, birds hide their illnesses really well. For my birds it was a general attitude change. They weren't as cheerful and chirpy. They seemed to squawk more. Cannonball would sit hunched over until someone looked directly at her, then she would quickly straighten up.
Now they are more active. Even when they are just perching quietly the seem more cheery. Sitting straighter...I know these are disjointed fragments but it's the best I can do. I'm not sure I can describe any better.

I'm glad that they are both healthy and that they did not catch anything from Ayden or Raina. Just make sure that if you see ANYTHING off in the next few days, call the vet. smile
Congrats, and good luck.
