Ohh I saw the report post , just the way it was described "alert facility threw me off".

Gotcha, I don't think since I have been on I have seen anything really bad.
I post that was what i call "just fear-mongering and otherwise useless" but the reponses stopped so I left it.

The last forum I was on was for kids (ahem of all ages it was for a game) you would not believe the stuff i musta reported like 2 kids (or so called kids a month)on that place everyone was given a button anytinme to catch someone saying something cos it was a role playing fast moving game, it put the onus on the kids too which i thought was very smart for a game esp. in todays world it taught them responsibility and to watch out for others too not just me me me. But I digress I have my button i wil have my eyes open for any near do wells. Dun dun dunn

I could have bought a color TV, but I chose an old black and white one. Deal with it.

Froggie, by law, this forum is for 13s and over.

Anyone under 13 must have a parent or guardian request permission from Lisa for their child to contribute ~ and it must then be under the supervision of a parent or guardian, I believe.

Thank you. smile

From time to time, people with nothing better to do, go round the various Internet forums, trying to stir up trouble, I'm afraid. frown

Remember, the Internet can be accessed by people of all kinds from all over the world. smile

A n00b (or Newbie) is a newcomer on the Internet, where it might refer to new, inexperienced, or ignorant users of a game, a forum, an operating system or the Internet. In many cases more experienced/knowledgeable using the term n00b as an insult, urging "n00bs" to learn more about something before asking a questin. n00bs are also rude and believe that the more advanced players are themselves, n00bs.

PDM is right i have seen someone spouting hatred and "bad things" on a kids forum then kids where saying shut up stop talking but most of these people want a reaction any reaction cos then the thread grows and more people see there "bad ideas" finally we got the kids to ignore them and guess what..when everyone stopped replying , that person got bored and went away.
The mod was on vacation, they had announced this- maybe that's why they found there way on the site or it was a coincidence. but I thought it was handles pretty well of course all the moms and stuff who were savvy helped . But the kids clued in that ignoring is best.

Some people are just evil or really really bored.
