Yeah...I think the same thing. As long as they only see it on the floor zooming around that is ok mi my opnion. Just don't let it touch thier face\eyes. My Uncles dog buddy goes NUTS when he see it laugh it is fun to watch laugh

I would not try this with keets. I think that since they can see UV light, it might be dangerous in a way that we are not sure about. Better safe than sorry smile

At the zoo near us they have laser pointers set up so that people can point the penguins at them, so that the penguins race around and get some exercise. So if it's fine for penguins, I'm sure it's fine for cats and dogs smile

I would be careful with keets though - I think with their teeny eyes the light is probably too powerful for them.

My dog goes nuts over laser pointers. Just the other day i had the laser point on a chair. Midnight (My dog) Tried to chew the chair to pieces. I then shut off the light and he was looking for it. Then i once pointed the light on the wooden floor and midnight slid until he hit the wall. No injuries. He hasnt learned his lesson though. :p

I can see a dog being afraid of it - he doesn't know what it is, sort of like being afraid of a black widow spider smile
