Lisa Shea Forums Parakeets Budgie Training ok so what does this mean

i have had my keet for a month and 4 days he knows up and i think he is fully hand traind, the peoblem is sometimes when he is at the top of the cage and i get him on my finger as i am takeing him down to the door he hops off of my finger and on to one of the lower perches in his cage, he will do this 0-5 times but its just randomly he has been good today he hasnt hopped of any otu of the four times i have taken him out of his cage
So what does this mean?

I think it is just play. Bubbles does that too and I call him a silly bird for it.

any one else have an idea???

I agree with bandit, It is probably just play.. I wouldnt be concerned with him hopping off your finger. The only concern I would have is if he started showing cage dominance where he trys to attack anything, even you if it goes in his cage.
