Well Vash and my baby bird (who seems to be stuck with Jimmy, as he reminds me of Jimmy from the Ed, Edd 'n Eddy cartoons)... they've really been hanging out with me lately, outside of the cage, etc. Jimmy has "come out on his shell" so to speak, and he'll get on my finger if Vash is on it, and sometimes not. I JUST GOT A CAMERA. Its used and not the best but here's some pics! (i think male-male?) pic 1 pic 2 pic 3

the blue one is Jimmy, and yes I think he does have mites. I've been trying to hook hum up with a vet, but I'm having a hard time finding one, though I'd prefer to have one come out to look at him, cause he's such a scardy bird, I don't want to tramatize him by taking him out. :-/
I'd rather just get the meds for him myself for mite treatment, but what if he doesn't have mites? it could be something else!
I posted about this today in the medical issues section.

what cute babies Hard to say about the mites I took my birds to the vet all the vet told me was yes the bird had mites I had to find the medication as he did not carry it I got it at the pet store and then used a qtip to apply you have to be very careful as you don't want to get in on the cere or inside their mouth you only put a little on the qtip but you really should find out from a vet if its mites before you medicate your bird if you can.
 My name is Connie

WOW!!!
I've never seen mites before, so I thought the new birdie was in desperate need of some cuttlebone or mineral block. Good luck with Jimmy's health.
