3bud: Can they access the bottom-most food dishes easily?
Maybe add a ladder down there or something.
I don't know. :p
It looks really great though!

3 bud- The door on your cage is awesome. Don't they poop in the lower dishes?

birdfriend- Thanks! It's great b/c they sit on it and chirp, preen etc when they are out of the cage.

Well, no b/c the perches are a little towards the back, not directly above the bowls. It's also good to have their perches mainly towards the back, so they have a little 'flapping' room inside the cage. There is never poop in the bowls, but sometimes a stray feather will fly in. smile I keep the 2 water bowls up high, and the 3 seed/veggie bowls at the bottom.

Sunny's Mommy- It's actually not as far as it looks to jump to the bowls. Far enough away not to poop in it, but close enough to jump right to them. smile The angle of the picture I posted makes it look VERY high up, but it is really not that high above ther bowls. smile

Birdfriend, I like your cage because it is wider than it is taller...i think i will look into getting one like yours for my two birds. Betsy's deformed feet have been causing her to fall alot when they play king of the pirch, and she would not have as far to fall. also, it would give them more flight room as they are pretty good now at flying across rather than upwards. I also like that you can have the hanging toys go down longer. In my cage, they just hang at the top and then the bottom part is kind of empty. it looks like you could fill that wide cage with more toys (which i like!) then i could just leave a flight path on one side.

Hi Betsy. It's really a great cage, my keets love all the flying space and love hopping from perch to perch. With Betsy's foot problem it sounds like a wider but shorter cage would be great for her.

I recently re-decorated the cage so here are some pictures.
