Hi illusive. I have some great news! Chiko loves cilantro and the wild bird problem has eased down to almost nothing now that I've started to be more interactive with him physically. Before I was afraid to move too quickly but It turns out that Chiko is really brave and really loves to play! He gets really into our games and won't stop chattering. Iv added 1 of those boing ropes (If that's what its called) and a natural perch swing with bells attached he just loves it! Iv also added thyme, cayenne pepper seeds n flakes, mustard seed, anise n some parsley to his diet. aside from wanting me to rub the parsley all of his face and then hold it like an umbrella no such luck! He's only taken to cilantro but boy does he love it. I try to feed him carrots every day but he doesn't like it yet. I remain hopeful. I leave his cage door open all the time but I've noticed that he hardly comes out it could be because of all his toys and I've been really stimulating him so he's happy. I also noticed that when people are talking loudly he loves to contribute. During our playing sessions he gets really loud though and holds on to his swing and flaps his wings while making some very loud shrieky noises. Should I be worried or is it all part of the fun?I'm just a little taken aback by how in your face and loud he can be!
