Here are some photos of our new kitty, Jake.

Congrats Carl & Marge. Jake is beautiful! And he looks like quite the little character too. Just look at the expressions in that little face. Bet he keeps you on your toes! LOL

Carl, what a cutie. Congratulations. He will be quite the hansome cat.

Thanks, Barbara & Kel. Yes, Kel, Jake DOES keep me on my toes. He climbs up my jeans legs, and simply loves to play. Thankfully, in the evening he does like to spend a few minutes of "quiet" time on my chest purring and "recharging." And he'll "chew" on my chin whiskers and "kiss" me. I have to remember NOT to let my hands dangle off the arms of my chair, though.

Hard to believe this is still the last one posted. Jake is quite a guy, still. He likes toys, but you don't have to buy them. If we open a ferrero rocher, or a lindt truffle, and he hears the foil crinkle, he expects us to crumple up the foil and throw it on the floor. He bats it around like the little soccer player that he is.

And he and Trippi have quite the little "wrestling" bouts. She is acting younger and younger, with Jake around.

Carl that is great that he and Trippi are getting along! Jake is a real cutie. The expression on his face is so trusting and sweet. That tells me a lot about how you treat your animals.

Thanks, Dinah. I think animals do trust me. And the ones who have a special relationship with me trust me, I think, in part from whom I am, but also in part because of the even keel my life has with Marge.
