Ok, Iam confused. My Sunshine and Hawk is THE couple in Love with each other. Well, the other day without even thinking about it, I came into the Living room finding them having a little "FUN" and I said Hey with my firm tone and Hawk got off of her. Now i dont know what it takes to get a female pregnant ("Meaning like how fast or are they like humans to where you may not get it on the first try type of thing).

But anyway, just so i was being cautious about it just in case I put them 2 in their own cage along with the nesting box in it and to my understanding if they mated just right that the female can start popping eggs out within a couple days but til this day she hasnt.

So iam not sure what to think, is it maybe I caught them in time to where it wasnt long enough for Hawk to insert for her to get pregnant or what? I've been checking her bottom and i dont see anything swollen and shes hopping around good and eating and drinking well. She has been eating the cuttlebone quite a bit but thats it.

So is it pretty much safe to say that shes not pregnant and send them 2 back with the other flocks? What do you guys think?

I would go ahead and put them in different cages if ya dont want them to have eggs...it would be the best bet....I dont know if she is preggo , but I would just keep a eye on her for a few more days...she may be eating the cuttlebone more becasue its around that time for her to want to have eggs..if ya know what i mean..and her body is telling her she needs it...hope that helps alittle
