As I said liveforchrist, I am not seeking to have you question your faith. If you're frightened, the last thing I am going to do is scare you further. As I also said, I have been where you are and I completely understand. I don't seek to make disciples, trust me! I want to help you understand your beautiful Bible. I love the Bible probably more than you do! Believe me. My Atheism is a choice, one that can change and one that I am not afraid to change. I don't go around touting that my way is the best, it's not. It's just a part of my very long journey through life. It's my choice, it doesn't have to be yours.

I am so very sorry you feel the way you do! But please don't run from your questions and feelings. Running only pushes aside the problem, it doesn't make it go away. You're a very intelligent person, and one in love with your God, questions and doubts and fears can not change who you are, it can only make you stronger!

You don't know more about my faith than I do. You question me and see if I can't answer them. In fact, almost all your sentences include something that prooves to me that you don't know more than I do about Christianity and the Bible.

What have you proven?

No one has disrespected you or your faith. You came here to try to witness to us and instead you found people who don't believe what you do. I'm afraid to break this to you (you might feel disrespected) but that's how the real world works. Not everyone will agree with you, especially when it comes to religion.

If one person, on a chat board, can make you feel "threatened, unsafe and very unsure and frightened" what will happen when you step outside your door and meet real people?

As for pushing your buttons, I only tried to engage you in a discussion about your faith. You brought it up. What did you expect? A dialog where everyone agrees with you?

Again, if you can't handle the comments of one person on a chat board who does not share your love for Jesus, how do you expect to function in the real world?

Thank you Nikki. You are very encouraging and I am glad you respect me (or do you?) I'm excited to become more in Christ but I am struggling right now. I'm talking to my former youth pastor about it and I'm sure i can get some help from him. I don't want to leave my faith and never will. I'm afraid because you guys told me that I will some day turn away, and that's what got to me. Alot of people STAY in their christianity and I want to be one of those people. Isn't that something I can do? What do you think? Do you think I can stay in this faith? Encouragement is what I really need right now

I will tell you this, I knew what the real world is. I just dont like your teasing and taunting. That is EXACTLY what you are doing and I would appreciate that you stop playing games with me and actually talk like a normal person.

I felt frightened because of my struggle right now. But I will stand firm and I KNOW God is real. You accept it or not, you'll find the truth. I know what I'm saying and my belief is what I choose.

I have a very hard time believing that you know more than I do about my faith. Proove it if you're telling the truth. I'd like to see your knowledge.

The simple question is....why? Why do you feel the need to stay in your christianity? Alot of people also leave Christianity. As humans that's what we do, we study, we learn, we make changes in our lives.

Whether you stay or don't stay really doesn't concern me at all, despite your attempts to label me as Satan. It really doesn't concern me.

But Why do you feel that we need to encourage you to stay? It's a big world out there and there are other paths to satisfy our spiritual needs. Sad to say it, but Christianity is really only one path. I know that you've been told that Jesus is the only way, but I politely disagree. There are 1 Billion Muslims in the world today, equal to the number of Protestants. There are 1/2 billion Hindus. There are Jews, there are Buddhists, there are Sikhs.

Ask your Youth pastor this simple question: If the message of Jesus is so absolute and perfect, why have the other world religions continued to grow over the past 2000 years? And no, you can't blame "Satan" for that.
