LOL, a while back some of us where chatting on a thread and I don't recall who, but someone just called the lose feathers a "Foofie" and it just sort of caught on! It's a fun word though I doubt you will find it in any dictionary.

hehehe, i've seen those! gonna have to keep the camera handy! LOL

Maybe from "loose fluffy (feather)" = foofie? or was it floofie? lol I think it was Coco's Mama but I'm not sure; she's always so creative with names and nicknames.
