can anyone help tell me what sex my birds are .... we are hesitating to name them till we know lol

Hi Talulakins - welcome to the forum. If I had to guess I would say two females. The blue one is really young to know for sure, but my guess would be female.

your yellow keet has the same cere as my FEMALES do. so i say female there. wink
i agree that the other is very young.

I think your blue one is a boy and the yellow one is a girl.

But since it's easier to see if you actually look at the parakeets in real life, I'll give you the article which tells you all about how to tell the genders of baby parakeets, so maybe you'll be able to tell better.

By the way, in the beginning of the article right under the heading it'll say "Photo of baby budgies." Be sure to click on that, and look at the difference in ceres. It will help you understand the information in the article better.

I think the blue bird is a boy and the yellow is a girl. My keets' ceres looked the same when I got them. Pinky-mauve cere for baby boys and blue w/white-rimmed nares for baby girls. They are very cute. Let us know what you want to name them when you feel sure.
