ROFL -- glad you think so! Why don't you come by my house? I'll get you all set up with damp sponges and a pot of coffee, and you can knock yourself out! smile

But a damp sponge would ruin their art work! You need to frame it wink

Why, yes, of course, and then I'll call the Art Institute of Chicago and offer them the art as a new installation... They can call it "The Scream (of the budgie mama)" (with apologies to Edvard Munch)! smile We can all frame our bird's "art" and we'll go on international tours with it... smile

Sure! And we all have to wear black turtleneck sweaters, berets or absurdly oversized eyeglasses, serious frowns, and speak pretentiously --- "Yes, but is it art for art's sake, dahling?"

Pudgie titled this "Angst/Beingness" but informally she calls it "not enough sweet potato":

Sure -- wasn't there something about art made by cats or elephants or something in the news months ago? People paid big bucks for animal art... http://www.tenspeedpress.com/store/index...roducts_id=1020 !!!

Thanks for the previous suggestions to try frozen mixed
veggies and baby foods. My budgie likes tomatoes, strawberries,
canteloupe and pears. I just wash them well and give him a slice big enough to "stand up" by itself. Then he just nibbles away, takes what he wants and I throw it out a few hours later.
He absolutely loves cooked, plain spaghetti and dry
grapenuts cereal, which I sprinkle on the kitchen table or near his food dish on the floor of his cage.
Years ago I had a budgie that loved grated carrots. His face would actually turn orange because he was so excited and
messy when eating them.

Stupid question.....in regards to the veggies, I'm assuming they should all be cooked first?
