My Dad always used to say that

I invited Marge to sit down and read this thread from page 4 onward - where we went from candy bars to the book we had read to what is important in life. Several times she laughed out loud - literally. Especially at one post, which she read to me (where I was explaining about the excitement).

She said to me, "I can see that they are good for you!"

I asked, "Then will you be registering to post?"

She answered, "No, not right now, but you can tell them what I said - that they're good for you."

I responded, "Well, good. You didn't say never."

Now, back to the important things in life. Friends are important. I feel like I have some here. People whom you enjoy being with are friends, I think.

Friends are definitely at the top of the important list. I too feel like I have some here,even without knowing you I feel like i know you and I enjoy your company, ya know? LOL What a great bunch! I know I'd hate to see anything bad happen to any of you.
I think True friends are there for the long haul, through good times and bad. And you can laugh,cry and argue and fight with each other and they still have your back.
And Carl, you are good for us too.You can be serious, funny, witty or profound. You keep us on our toes and I have to say sometimes you really give me things to think about. Thanks for being you and thank Marge for sharing your company

Thanks. It's nice to be appreciated. Most of my life I felt like I shouldn't say that. And now that I am less afraid to show who I am, because I genuinely like me (and can forgive earlier shortcomings), and receive good love from Marge, I can accept compliments.

I truly think Marge was pleased that I'm having a good time.

A nurse friend of hers always pulls my head down to her bosom when we hug. I probably can't use the word she uses for the "love" she's giving me. Marge just laughs.

We trust each other.

Trust is very important, I think.

i couldn't find any other QUESTION posted since that one. but i could have read over it if it was changed. i was trying to figure it out too. lol

I'm pretty sure the question of the day is still "What do you feel are the most important things in life?"
Unless the question changed..but it's not midnight yet..here at my house anyway LOL
