Diane, my best friend and I always thought the Stehanie Plum novels would make a great tv series too. Hey, you could be the casting director! Carl, here's a link to a Stephen Hunter site-I really loved the Bob Lee Swagger and Earl Swagger series and have also read most of the others-all good. I took a quick look at one of them - the 47th Samurai, and it sounds interesting. Author was born 3 years after me. I'm always amazed at what people know. I guess we all learn in different directions. One of the ones that the link showed as "similar works" was by the author David Baldacci. I've read him, and other adventure and political novels, as well. I'll just start grabbing books by Hunter and catch up.

Me, too. At least they've learned not to count Tebow and the Gators out. Gators are always dangerous.
Those USC band uniforms, the cheerleader costumes, even the players' uniforms - kind of ugly retro, wouldn't you say? I'd better watch out, Di. There may be some USC alums and fans here.
And to show my remorse for continuing to talk off topic, I will admit that I like some Hershey's also, Sherri, but I prefer the ones with nuts.
Now, books - I'm about to enjoy a late New Years Day snack, along with a beer, and read some of the book I'm currently on.

I haven't read a good book in awhile.I've been busy reading to little ones.I love all different types of books;from V.C.Andrews to S.King.I rarely read a love story.In 2009 i'm going to read the Bible from beginning to end.I love action books.the last book I read was Fat Tuesday by Sondra
Brown.My question is what do you feel is the most important things in life?
